SOJ Small Groups:
Spirit of Joy has a growing number of Small Groups that cover a full spectrum of both interests and schedules. Click Read More in the Small Groups Schedule box in the Spirit of Joy News section on the Home Page to see the complete Small Groups Schedule.
SPIRIT OF JOY SMALL GROUPS ARE:
Safe places to ask faith questions. Confidential, covenantal.
“Little Labs” of Christian community where we practice living the Jesus way.
Places where supportive friends can lean on each other in rough places.
Examples to seekers of the Christian life.
Where leadership is shared. No one has to do it all.
Where listening, forgiveness and love is practiced.
Each Small Group establishes an identity, identifies their mission, and formulates a covenant in order to promote trust and protect confidentiality. You can expect prayer, devotion, and caring conversation at each Small Group meeting. Each Small Group is encouraged to include a special mission or service project as part of their activities.
