Neighborhood Outreach

In addition to going out and meeting the people of our local community, Spirit of Joy Neighborhood Outreach Teams regularly invites and hosts the Bloodmobile and organizes Thrivent matching funds events in which everyone is invited to take part in.

Spirit of Joy also offers Community Garden plots each year to those who sign-up early and tours of our Prayer Gardens are also offered throughout the growing season.

Our congregation is creating a care network for partners and others in the community who have both short-term and long-term needs for emotional, spiritual, and financial support. If you know of someone in need, we would like to know.

Community Service

From our inception, we’ve aimed to be a church that is involved in assisting the poor and needy in our community and around the world.

Teams from Spirit of Joy volunteer their services regularly at The Banquet, the Food To You Mobile Food Pantry, and Kids Against Hunger. Spirit of Joy encourages all partners to volunteer in the community. It's so easy and there's no greater reward!

Spirit of Joy has provided and continues to provide financial support to full-time missionaries in foreign lands.
